Randy organized against the the Viet Nam War and was jailed for 22 months for refusing to serve. Daniel Ellsberg cites Randy as one of those who inspired him to release The Pentagon Papers. Randy was also a cofounder of the Nuclear Weapons Freeze Campaign, has been a war tax resister for decades and has been involved in many interesting grassroots struggles in his rural home of Western Massachusetts. Randy will also be speaking at OCC (Monday, March 22 at 11:10 am at Mawhinney Hall 345), Syracuse University (Tuesday, March 23 at 4 pm, 220 Eggers Hall), SUNY Cortland (Wed., March 24 at 12:30 pm in Jacobus Lounge, Brockway Hall), SUNY Oswego (Wed., March 24 at 7:30 pm at Lanigan 102) and Colgate University (Thurs., March 25 at 7 pm, University ALANA Multipurpose Room).
