for Dr. Dhafir: Resentencing Hearing

Supporters
are urged to attend this upcoming hearing to show community support for
a sentence reduction for Dr. Dhafir, an Iraqi-born doctor who resided
for many years in Manlius, NY. He was arrested as part of the US war on
terror, although no terrorism-related charges were ever raised in court.

Our ongoing Peace Outreach happens the 1st Tuesday of every month during
the winter. With upcoming Feb. 29 court date of the Hancock 38 Drones
resisters, we hope for a strong turnout at this vigil to send a message
that our community does not want to play host to drone warfare.

for Peace: Fun, Fundraising Bowlathon
Sunday, March 4, Sessions start at Noon & 3 pm

Bowl, Liverpool map
Crazy
costumes, clever team names, and lots and lots of fun. This is a great
all ages event in which everyone can participate. The facilities are fully
accessible and all lanes are equipped with bumpers. Just 4-6 people are
needed to form a team. $15 entry fee/$10 kids 12 and under, includes 2
games plus shoes. Early bird discount (save $2 per person) for teams
registered by Feb. 15. Final registration deadline to guarantee a
lane is Feb. 24.
Prizes for team spirit,
best costume, most creative team name, and anyone who collects more than
$50 in pledges!
