March on Washington:
End the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq

Saturday, March 20, bus leaves Syracuse at 2 am (returns 24 hours later)

We are headed to D.C. to remind our leaders that no war is a good war. March 20th marks the beginning of the 8th year of the U.S. Operation Iraqi Freedom. There will be a march at noon on Saturday to the White House, where we will be protesting with visual reminders of the cost of the wars in the Middle East. Together we'll say, “No Wars and Occupations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Haiti!" "No War Against Iran!” “No War Anywhere!” We will also construct coffins and drape them in various flags (Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan...).

Seats: $40-80 sliding scale (more if you can, less if you can't; scholarships available). It costs us $60/seat. Seats on the bus are limited, so act quickly to reserve yours now!

Parking will be at 404 Oak St. in Syracuse for the trip. Get to the bus at 1:35 a.m., leave at 2 a.m. We will stop for breakfast, so please bring money for food or your own food.

Reservation deadline with payment is NO LATER THAN March 13th. The sooner you pay, the better because we don't want to have to cancel. You don't have your seat until it's paid, so please, act quickly!

Reserve your seat here.

Sliding Scale
