Anti-drone Conference Logistics Info

Location:
The majority of the weekend’s events will be held at the South West Community Center in Syracuse, New York. The address is 401 South Ave, Syracuse, NY 13204 (directions below). This is a community center in the heart of a resource-starved neighborhood in Syracuse. We are grateful to them for hosting the conference. Our costs are low in order to make our conference affordable for everyone. This conference is organized by activists on a shoestring budget, so this is not a high tech, fancy space. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Check-In / Registration
Conference check-in and registration will be open at the Community Center on Friday from 5:00pm – 9:00 pm on Friday and from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm on Saturday. If you have registered, but not sent payment yet, please do not send check by mail at this point. Please instead bring payment with you in the form of cash or check. If you are bringing friends with you who have not pre-registered, please help us out by asking them to pre-register at http://www.peacecouncil.net/nodronesconference.
We will accept walk-in registrations at the door, but it helps our planning if people pre-register.

If you have registered people other than yourself, please pass this email on to them, as we do not have their email addresses.

Workshops
Workshops will be held all day Saturday from 9am – 5pm. For the most up-to-date schedule of workshops, please visit http://upstatedroneaction.org/schedule-april-2013.html.

Also, if you would like to participate further in the theater, you can bring a piece of black cloth to wear over your head and shoulders. We are also inviting participants to bring photographs of drone victims and of children from countries targeted by the US military and CIA.
