April 22 Action
Several hundred people participated in peace walks, a
rally and civil disobedience at Hancock Field on Friday, April 22.
37 people were arrested for dying in at the gates to the base from which
"pilots" fly drone aircraft over Afghanistan

The
Reaper (and its destruction) coming to Syracuse
until we stop it
Syracuse's Hancock Air Field is the home of The Reaper
drone aircraft which will be piloted from here in Syracuse for surveillance
and attacks in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and potentially elsewhere.
It is one of only two such sites in the US.
This is a new step in our community taking a role in the

for Creative Nonviolence, has been nominated three times for a Nobel
Peace Prize. She has travelled to Iraq many times, first to bring humanitarism
supplies in violation of the US embargo and then to prevent the US invasion.
She is an articulate and inspiring activist.
