The Syracuse Peace Council (SPC) is a comprehensive grassroots peace and social justice organization founded in 1936. SPC educates, agitates and organizes to create a world of peace and justice for all people. Our various projects and campaigns seek to move us toward those goals.

A major SPC project is our monthly Peace Newsletter. SPC's goal of uncompromised and radical social change informs its diverse agenda, allowing each activity to be approached with a commitment to nonviolence, and a recognition of the many ways in which violence and military culture invade our lives.
