The importance of the US military base in Ramstein, Germany to the U.S. drone war program cannot be overstated. Ramstein is one of the largest U.S. military bases outside the U.S. and is the site of a satellite relay station that plays a key role in the communication between drone operators here in the U.S.

No to Endless War

On Feb. 11, President Obama sent Congress a proposed joint resolution to Authorize the Use of Military Force (AUMF), which would authorize and extend military action against ISIS for the next three years. The Syracuse Peace Council calls on Congress to reject this new AUMF, rescind the 2001 AUMF, and stop an “endless” war on the people of the Middle East.

Predator - a Play by Jack Gilroy

Join us for a wonderful staged reading of a play by Jack Gilroy about weaponized drones. Four women characters - a Senator, peace activist, drone pilot
and college student - explore the use of weaponized drones from their different perspectives. After the reading the actors - still in character - will dialog with the audience.

The reading is FREE.

The playwright is a long-time peace activist and drone resister from Binghamton.
