Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation (NOON) is a grassroots organization of Central New Yorkers which recognizes and supports the sovereignty of the traditional government of the Onondaga Nation. A program of the Syracuse Peace Council, NOON supports the right of native peoples to reclaim land, and advocates for fair settlement of any claims which are filed.

Solidarity Call to Action: RALLY FOR STANDING ROCK

On February 7th, the Army Corps of Engineers gave notice of intent to grant the final easement for the DAPL to cross the Missouri River. In response to a Call to Action, we call upon each and every person to Rise and Stand in Solidarity with The Standing Rock Sioux Nation and Water Protectors. It is our duty to protect our Mother Earth and all of our life’s sustenance that she provides. Join us on Saturday, February 11th in Perseverance Park to protest the Dakota Access Pipe Line; if you cannot make it, please help spread the word.
