Get Paid To Work For Social Justice!

The Syracuse Peace Council is hiring a Staff Organizer. SPC is a Syracuse-based grassroots peace and social justice organization that has been in existence since 1936.

SPC Staff Organizers relate to our program and administrative committees, members and supporters, and the general public. Overseen by the SPC Steering Committee, they have varied responsibilities, both issue organizing and administrative work. Specific duties are negotiable, but will likely include supporting our efforts to mobilize resistance and build alternatives to the Trump agenda, as well as our ongoing anti-militarism/war work and our work in support of the traditional government of the Onondaga Nation. In addition, there is fundraising, event organizing, generating content for our website and newsletter, and many meetings at various times (including evenings).

Visit www.peacecouncil.net for a description of SPC programs and to read our Statement of Purpose.
