Music has been at the center of social movements around the world and
has the power to educate, inspire and unify. The Syracuse Peace Council
asked Central New Yorkers to tap into this power by submitting songs
related to peace and social justice to be considered for a place on
a CD entitled PeaceSongsCNY.
We have selected 12 songs so far for the CD. An additional four
songs will be selected via community polling happening in conjunction
with the Syracuse
New Times. Voting will continue until Jan. 15.
Check out the songs which have already
been selected.

to plague our community. This is your chance to turn up the volume on

do you have to encourage peace and change?
